At The Jungle, our highly trained instructors lead a variety of classes that are fun and challenging. To truly be an animal of The Jungle, we promote training in multiple forms of movement.
JUNGLE SUMMER CAMP
Jungle Camp is so awesome! Kids will have the time of their lives playing games, running obstacle courses, swinging around on ropes and rings, jumping on trampolines, doing flips into the foam pit, climbing the rock walls and more. Sign up now, spots are filling up fast! Full days and half days available, full days time is from 8am-5pm and half day times is from 8am-12pm or 1pm-5pm. Contact us for more information about camps.
CONTORTION AND AERIAL HOOP WORKSHOP W/ CATY MAY
Hey Jungle Cats! The Jungle Movement Academy is hosting a Contortion and Aerial Lyra Workshop taught by the talented Caty May on June 3rd. She has amazing flexibility and has been practicing and teaching aerial lyra/hoop you years. Caty will be teaching on June 3rd from 11am-2pm. The workshop will consist of stretching and conditioning exercises, partner stretching drills to increase flexibility and Lyra/ Aerial Hoop techniques. The cost for the workshop is $50 per person and $40 for members, ages 16 and up only. If you are looking to learn from the best, and be challenged, then this is the workshop for you! BIRTHDAY PARTY RENTAL
We offer birthday party services, where our staff can suit up in costumes, perform epic fight scenes, and play games with the kids. We also offer themed events such as Ninja Warrior, Nerf Gun, Jungle games and much more! Base price for private parties is $300 for a two hour block. Additional services can be added based on your needs!
Just want to play with no instruction!? Come to our scheduled open gym hours to utilize our entire gym as your personal playground. There are instructors supervising and ready to spot you with new skills that you are learning and need some help with. All members get FREE open gym access.
PARKOUR AND FREERUNNING
Run through Ninja Warrior type obstacle courses that will challenge your balance, speed, strength, and technique while preparing you to compete on the TV show American Ninja Warrior. Skills include: Mastery of Ninja Warrior obstacles such as the quad steps, warped wall, salmon ladder, Ultimate Cliffhanger and many more!
Learn how to move your body in continuous motion along the ground. Bring out your instinctual primal movement with a hint of dance, truly mastering how to let momentum carry you through various movement patterns. This class is taught by the one and only Cecy Q.
TRAMPOLINE AND AIR AWARENESS
In this class, learn how to fly like a bird. We use the olympic trampoline to practice controlling your body in the air and falling with grace and ease. Learn basic trampoline skills such as a back-drop and swivel hips, all the way up to flying up onto the tramp-wall and performing flips and twisting moves. We will also learn how to fall and flip into the foam pit. This class is great for learning ultimate control of your body in the air and is good for increasing your overall body awareness.
AERIAL YOUTH SILKS AND LYRA
This class is for beginner to intermediate flyers. Aerial disciplines are truly art forms that emphasize beauty and grace and is a fun way to increase air awareness, strength and flexibility while hanging and spinning on Aerial apparatuses. Skills include climbing, hanging upside down, flexibility conditioning, grip strength training, combos and transitions, aerial drops and more!
Aerial conditioning will focus on building strength and flexibility for all different types of aerial movement. We will work on exercises to increase grip, upper body, and core strength. This class is great for newbies to aerials and for aerialists looking to take their strength to the next level.
AERIAL HOOP/LYRA (ADULTS)
Adult aerial hoop is for beginner to intermediate flyers. Aerial hoop is truly an art form that emphasizes beauty and grace while increasing air awareness, strength and flexibility. Adults will first learn and practice basic aerial hoop skills that include terminology, grips, entrances, seats, and exits. Intermediate adults past the basics will get into more advanced poses, transitions, drops and spins.
AERIAL SILKS (ADULTS)
Adult aerial silk is for beginner to intermediate flyers. Aerial silk is truly an art form that emphasizes beauty and grace while increasing air awareness, strength and flexibility. Adults will first learn and practice basic aerial skills that include climbing, hanging upside down, flexibility conditioning, grip strength training, combos and transitions, aerial drops and more! Intermediate adults past the basics will get into more advanced transitions, combos, drops and aerial conditioning.
JUNGLE GROUP FITNESS
Have fun training alongside friends and family in our Ninja Group Fitness class. This class helps the group become smarter and stronger through team-based challenges! These include strategy, puzzles and problem solving, speed and strength challenges. We win together and finish together! United we stand!
Flip, kick, and trick on the giant spring floor! Flips such as the backflip, frontflip, b-twist, and corkscrew are taught in this class. After grasping the basics, we'll learn how to effortlessly connect our tricks together with complete control. This class teaches you how to invert your body in different ways using powerful jumps and momentum change.
HANDSTANDS AND CONDITIONING CLASS
In this class you will learn how to properly wield a SWORD! Techniques includes striking, blocking and defense, footwork movements, conditioning, and sword SPARRING!!! Learn up to 9 different sword fighting styles and sword choreography from the legendary Samurai John Satberry.
MOMMY AND ME
HOME SCHOOL PARKOUR & NINJA
Bring your child to The Jungle Movement Academy during the day for our Jungle homeschool class. This class focuses on improving motor function, hand eye coordination, footwork, obstacle courses, games, and ninja challenges! Classes are available for ages 3-5, and 5-16 years old.
RECOVERY AND INJURY PREVENTION
Take the time to heal your body, mind, and soul. This interactive education based class will help you to recover faster from your workouts and injuries, and help you to prevent future injuries by means of flexibility and mobility training. Our coaches will teach you about your muscles, joints, and locomotion, and daily habits to keep your body healthy. THIS CLASS IS FREE FOR MEMBERS. We truly believe in the importance of recovery just as much as the importance of training.
SPEED, STRENGTH, AND FLEXIBILITY
Ninja games are designed to increase abilities through having fun and friendly competition against other ninjas in training. Games include Ninja Tag, Ninja Vanish, Sharks and Minnows, Dodgeball, Flip (Horse), Lava Tag, Handstand Contests, Best Trick, Circle of Death (backflip/back handspring game), The Mat Game, and other ninja challenges.
Dodgeball is the perfect game for all ninjas! If you can dodge a wrench, then you can dodge a ball! Come join us on Fridays for epic games of dodgeball. This class is pure fun and improves your reaction time and instincts, hand eye coordination, catching and throwing abilities!
MARTIAL ARTS SPARRING
Apply martial arts skills and techniques you’ve learned in our sparring class. In this class, you will spar other students (beginner through advanced) to learn concepts like distance and range, timing, attacking and blocking, counter attacks, grappling and ground game, combos, sparring multiple people and more!
Moms now have their very own class! Let your kid play in homeschool class while you take the Mom's class. If your kid is a member, then moms get this class for completely free! This class is designed to help moms learn movement skills involving parkour, climbing, rolling, vaulting and much more. Keep up with your kids and be the Super Mom that they will always look up to!
This community based class is for anyone and everyone. Along with learning skills in parkour, Ninja Warrior, trampoline, and more, this class is designed as a community building experience. We play fun interactive games, perform team challenges, and help each other achieve our goals. Family or no family, come experience what community building is all about!
BACKFLIP AND BACK HANDSPRING WORKSHOP
Learn how to backflip and back handspring with some of the best athletes around! In this 3 hour workshop, we will teach you progressions, techniques, and tricks that you can use to help you achieve this feat of athletic ability. This workshop is friendly for all ages.
Kids ages 3-5 years old learn movement basics. In this class, young ones learn skills involving multiple practices including parkour, climbing, trampoline, flipping, and more. This fun overall movement class builds fundamental skills such as balance, coordination, self-confidence, and complex motor skills.
